You have done it again! Another wonderful unit. I have already downloaded and added to my lesson plans for tomorrow. I would love to visit your classroom for a day (I do live and teach kindergarten in GA :)) Thank you for sharing!
I also teach in Georgia and I would love it if you would send me a copy of your schedule or post it to your blog. I just don't see how you get all this done. Also, what reading series do you use? I am trying to find ways to incorporate more into my schedule, even though I already feel like we do so much! There is just so much that I want to do with my students. Thank you for all your ideas and help.Jennyjfutch@long.k12.ga.us
I'm so excited about this unit! It looks wonderful! The code says invalid...is there any chance it could be different?
I love this new unit! What other units are you going to be posting?
The code is correct... I'm going to spell it because the font may make it difficult to read the numbers. :)A three F nine D no spaces.
I'm going to be working on an Ocean unit and then I will be doing a Fall Farm Unit and back to school unit. Lots of projects in the works this summer as well. :)
You are welcome to come and visit anytime. :) I have a student teacher for the last eight weeks of school but we can set something up for the fall. :) @ Ginny I will post my schedule in my next post. We don't having a Reading Series...thank the Lord!!!
TY so much!! Got the code! Any chance you will do an egg unit?
This was a clever activity! I'm sure students would love it. I wonder if this leads to boys throwing little bugs on girls :) Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing. I just purchase the insect unit and can't wait to use it. Just wondering... how do you make these? Where do you get the graphics from? Is it a certain program? Thanks in advance!!
I just had to share what I found at Michael's today. They are "Bug Glasses" and they would go perfect with your unit when teaching about compound eyes. You can check out a picture on my blog atwww.firstgradeshenanigans.blogspot.comI taught your insect unit to my first graders last year and the loved it. Thanks so much for doing what you do!
