1.  I'm currently working in my office and I'm listening to Sidewalk Prophets.  I LOVE them!
Their music is so beautiful and the words always speak to my heart.
Keep Making Me is my favorite song by them.  The  video is a bit odd!  But I love the words.  :)

2.  Need I say more?
3.  Oh, my word!  I Seriously love going to Vegas every year but it is so much work getting ready for it.
Sometimes I think I'd love to just go and see all the great sessions without presenting.
Are you going?
4.  If you have fur babies then you will understand this one.  Our sweet Chinchilla, Cheerio is sick and we have made two visits to emergency care because she wasn't eating or drinking.  Today they put her on syringe feedings and I have to force feed her every four hours with a syringe.  Wrestling a chinchilla is not fun. AT.ALL!  I'm pretty sure she is going to hate me when this is all over!  We love our fur babies though so what ever it takes to get her well!

5.  GAH!  I have been working hard to lose a little weight and I've been doing great.   This week I'm participating in a 6 Day Slim down challenge and the meal plan is no JOKE!  I am so HANGRY!!!
I think my family is secretly making a plan to move out for the remainder of the week.
When this is over if I never see a salad or green veggies again I won't be a bit sad!

and let's don't even talk about the fact that I've given up coke.  (sigh)

6.  Well that's about it.  If you need me this is where you can find me....

OOPS!  Two more things!  For some reason my email notifications for new blog posts haven't been going out so make sure you click back to check out the last few posts I've done.
My new linky series starts tomorrow and I'm super excited about it!  I hope you'll come back and check it out and if you're a blogger I hope that you'll consider linking up with me.

  5. I'm so looking forward to floating in the pool too!

It seems like summer is the time when all teachers are trying to lose some pounds. (All those end of year treats.) I'm thinking about food too. Unfortunately, I've eaten my WW points for the day, so water is going to have to tide me over. :-)

    Enjoy your summer!!

  8. That is a great song by Sidewalk Prophets. My favorite right now to listen to is Phil Wickham's This is Amazing Grace. I have been to Vegas before but there was not enough money this year. I wish to could go, it is worth it.

  11. Thanks for the video, Deanna. I took it to mean that we are all canvasses, just waiting for the touch of the Master's hand. If we will turn our lives over to Him, He will make masterpieces of each of us. I like the metaphor, and the music. Thank you. Carol

  15. I have never heard of the Sidewalk Prophets, and enjoyed their music and video very much! I am just now out of school and have more time to read blogs and am loving it. I am a few days behind, but I will be linking up to your book and summer top 10 linky soon. Thanks for the opportunities to link up! BTW, I am intrigued by your chinchillas. Hope your sick one is feeling better SOON!

  16. I hope your fur baby is much better ! It is terrible when they are sick. My Saint is not well right now and hasn't really eaten in a whole week. Worst idea for a diet ever, I told him! Thinking of you!

  17. I will be in Vegas this year with one of my teammates and we are VERY excited to see you present. We love your products! It's our first time attending a conference like this and we are looking forward to learning a lot!

  18. I too gravitate to my friend's pool every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (and sometimes even Sundays) during the summer! We call ourselves The Tankini Girls, and become "ladies of the lounge chairs" for at least a few hours on those blissful afternoons! No laptops, phones, or even books are allowed! Just rafts, refreshing beverages, and healthy (and sometimes not so healthy) snacks! So glad to have found your blog, and am excited to link up for the Tuesday Book Talk! I missed the Summer Bucket List because I was still in school last week, but after Monday's work day, I will be F-R-E-E!
    Warm Regards,
    ~Jennifer

  19. I would love to learn more about your six day slim down plan. I'm attending the I Teach First conference in Vegas (very much looking forward to hearing you speak and learn from you!) and I do NOT want to buy new clothes for that event. Best wishes for quick and complete healing for your chinchilla. Your situation made me think of the song by casting Crowns "Praise you in this Storm". Even amidst the challeneges and trying situations God is working in our hearts to bring us closer to Him. I'll pray that the syring feedings find you leaning on and learning from our blessed God.
