  7. Favorite organizational tool is my baskets for each day of the week. I put my supplies for each day in the baskets on Monday morning, so I don't have to search later. makes it easy if I need a sub too!

  9. My favorite organizational tool would be numbering my students. It allows me to label things with numbers rather than names and reuse them from year to year.

  10. Favorite organizational tool is table bookshelves, they keep everything so organized and within easy reach of the students!

  11. I like to color code items. It makes it easier to quickly find and grab for me, my paras, and my students!

  13. Not sure if my comment posted, but if not I had written that apart from organizing all ideas onto various pinterest boards, I love my teacher and sub binders from TPT. They helped me organize all information into one place that was handy and easy. I also loved the idea a fellow coworker had about organizing her word wall. She used a different color marker to show 1st-4th quarter. So the students always knew which words they were currently working on and which ones they should know. I love how adaptable that is to every decor, theme, and design!

  26. My best organizational tip came from way back when I began my student teaching; getting my home organized; I learned to take it a little further! I deep clean a couple of weeks before school starts drapes to walls to carpets folks. Then I begin cooking...I make pasta sauces, meatloafs, pulled pork, chicken (divided for several meals) and freeze. It is really nice to come home from a long school day to a clean home and a ready meal (thawed or crockpotted). Ahhhhh! :)

  27. Lots of tubs and lables....have to have labels!

    ReplyDelete
  28. My best organizational tip is:Put things away immediately. I often get too busy with my teaching and moving from one subject to the next that often, almost always I just put materials I've used on a counter, my reading desk...then that will go on the floor when I need it,UGH!! or under my easel which by the way i usually leave stacks of books under, so my tip is put it away when you are done with it =)

  29. My best organization tip is to use an app like book buddy pro or classroom organizer to inventory your items. ex. classroom library books

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have drawers for each day of the week. I put all the materials I need for each day in the appropriate drawer. So when I walk in that morning I go straight to the drawer and take out the materials I need for that day.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Put things away right away before it has time to pile up

    ReplyDelete
  32. I take time at the end of each day to put stuff away! Saves me from getting buried alive under all my materials!

  33. Your granddaughters are adorable! Do you have a preschool sign? My niece is starting preschool this year and I would love to take a pic with her and that sign!
